About this denylist

The Do Not Interact List is an IFTAS-curated list of domains that are highly recommended for defederation. Each domain is labelled using a shared vocabulary label. Each domain is investigated by human review for governance, common content, network and service activities, hosting location and more.

If your app or platform uses this list, please let us know!

Inclusion

Inclusion on this list means we believe:

  1. Federating with this domain poses significant risk to your service, and
  2. We are extremely unlikely to ever retract an entry.

In all cases we strongly recommend you use a Federation Policy to aid you in your decision making.

Appeals

  • Requests must be submitted from an email address publicly listed on the service in question. If your service does not list an administrator email address, we cannot process your request.
  • Email contact @ about.iftas.org in English.
  • Include the domain name and a brief summary of the actions taken to address the initial reasons for inclusion.
  • There is no fee for the review or removal of a domain from IFTAS lists.
