About this denylist
The Do Not Interact List is an IFTAS-curated list of domains that are highly recommended for defederation. Each domain is labelled using aΒ shared vocabulary label. Each domain is investigated by human review for governance, common content, network and service activities, hosting location and more.
The DNI list is available as a default option in the following platforms:
Inclusion on this list means we believe:
- Federating with this domain posesΒ significant riskΒ to your service, and
- We areΒ extremely unlikelyΒ to ever retract an entry.
In all cases we strongly recommend you use aΒ Federation PolicyΒ to aid you in your decision making.

Appeals
- Requests must be submitted from an email address publicly listed on the service in question. If your service does not list an administrator email address, we cannot process your request.
- Email contact@about.iftas.org in English.
- Include the domain name and a brief summary of the actions taken to address the initial reasons for inclusion.
- There is no fee for the review or removal of a domain from IFTAS lists.
